Driver Employee Benefits
Kelworth Trucking offers many benefits to drivers, including:

    • Roadside Inspection Bonus
      • Drivers that favorably pass a DOT roadside inspection are rewarded with a cash bonus on their weekly paycheck. 
  • Vacation pay
    • After one year of employment, drivers are eligible for a vacation check, which will allow them to take time off of work at their own discretion.
  • Health insurance cost sharing
    • Kelworth pays a portion of our drivers’ monthly health insurance premiums, should they elect to receive coverage. This helps to keep the monthly cost to the driver low.
  • Drivers are paid on a percentage of revenue
    • Load pay is congruent with the time and effort it takes the driver to complete the load. More difficult loads pay more. Load miles are only one of many factors considered.
    • The percentage increases over time!
  • Drivers use new equipment
    • Kelworth only operates new tractors and trailers, and all equipment is kept in the best condition possible, thanks to the hard work of our on-site maintenance shop.

    • Drivers speak with their dispatchers personally, every day. In this way, employees are able to discuss their jobs with a person, not a computer.

    • Drivers are welcome to contact their dispatcher, the maintenance shop, the payroll manager or even the company president to speak about any concerns they may have about their job.

Pre-Requisites
Driver applicants should meet the following employment pre-requisites: Minimum of 2 years trucking experience; some involving flatbeds. Must be able to pass a DOT physical and have never failed a drug screen. Must possess a clean driving record. Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
